Sprucing up the outside

It is that time of year again.  The birds have been singing, the sun is shining down with its hot rays, and spring fever has hit.

We are meeting with a realtor to discuss placing the house on the market and get the skinny on how the market is looking locally.  That being the case, the outside needs a little sprucing up.

The north side of the house has a gravel walkway but it is small limestone gray gravel.  So to make it like a little newer and spiffier some nice pea gravel would do the trick.

Becky raking leaves off the limestone gravel.

As you can see from this photo, it does need some sort of updating.  So off to the landscape store to purchase some pea gravel.

The Boss smoothing out the new stone.
Now you can see the new look.  It does brighten it up and makes it look cleaner.  This little project took two utility trailer loads and about three hours of work.  I can put a completion on this project.

More mulching of the front beds still has to be completed.  Oh, that can wait another day.  A body can only do so much in one day.
