I must say the one that is the most fun is the skid steer. It will turn on a dime and is very versatile in operating in confined spaces. It will also shake you around while operating the machine. You operate the bucket with foot pedals and steer will two hand operated levers. Here is a video I shot while operating one.

OPERATING A SKID STEER
Growing up on a farm there is always an opportunity to operate different types of equipment. Different sizes of tractors, excavators, tract loaders, skid steers, etc. While going to school in Arkansas, I spent some time on a farm of my college friend. I was given the opportunity to drive a large tractor with a hand clutch. Now that is different.
I must say the one that is the most fun is the skid steer. It will turn on a dime and is very versatile in operating in confined spaces. It will also shake you around while operating the machine.
